We are seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to join our

team designing and developing high-integrity systems. The ideal candidate will

have a deep understanding of the whole systems engineering lifecycle and work

in a multidisciplinary team to design a variety of complex systems. Projects

will be of varying levels of size and complexity and both internal and external

projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Liaise

with stakeholders to enable the elicitation of architectural requirements.

• Analyze

and define system features and attributes to inform the creation of the most

appropriate system architecture.

• Conduct

appropriate analysis (use cases, sequence diagrams, simulations, state machines

etc.) for defining system behavior and application to the system architecture.

• Define

Logical architectures to support the definition and allocation of

feature/functions.

• Analyze

and define physical architecture and interfaces.

• Support

the system level fault response and reconfiguration activities.

• Support

reliability and safety analysis (e.g. ITD, FMEA, FTA, HARA etc.)

• Use

requirements management tools for capturing requirements at all levels and

generating specification documents.

• Ensure

that the system architecture effectively supports integration and test

activities.

• Ensure

project documentation is correctly managed, maintained and released in line

with company processes and standards.

• Deliver

engineering tasks in line with project milestones.

Qualifications, Experience and Skills

Required:

• A degree

or similar qualification in an engineering discipline

• A sound

understanding of engineering, physics and applied mathematics and their

application to solving real world problems.

• Excellent

problem-solving and analytical skills. Able to prioritize and manage projects

and tasks effectively.

• Relevant

experience in system design, electrical/electronic engineering and control

systems.

• Experience

in a customer-facing role, providing technical interfaces to customers.

• Strong

presentation, report writing, and communication skills. Ability to liaise

effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

• Experience

in engineering of vehicle electrification, power systems and/or renewable

energy would be strong advantage
